Mark Basten is developing a number of passenger and small commercial electric vehicles for Tata Motors. Mark Basten has 25 years experience in the automotive industry. Initially this was with tier one suppliers and now with Tata Motors, based at their European Technical Centre (TMETC) in Coventry UK. Mark was previously the Chief Engineer (radar products) at TRW working on their driver assistance systems for both passenger car and commercial vehicles. His current role at TMETC provides responsibility for the electrical and electronic systems on board the Tata Motors portfolio of electric vehicles. Mark has a BSc (Hons) degree from Coventry Polytechnic, is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the IET.
